Normalizing Political Violence

Back in 2011, thousands of dirty (literally) Communists called themselves Occupy Wall Street and began squatting in their own filth in public parks in major cities all over the country. From there, they committed a long litany of crimes, including destruction of public and private property, rioting, looting, assault, rape and murder.

And Democrats loved them.

Describing the protests as “serious” and “encouraging,” Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) praised the sentiment motivating Occupy Wall Street and called for Congress to take heed. “It’s got a clear message, and that is frustration with the way that business is being done, the way that wealth is tilting towards the high end and the middle class is shrinking. And that message needs to be given,” Welch, a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, told me on Wednesday. What’s more he added, “it’s a real grassroots, citizens-led initiative. It’s not a top-down effort, it’s bottom up. In that sense, I think it’s very similar to the tea party.” 

Other progressive Democrats are even more enthusiastic. “I’m so proud to see the Occupy Wall Street movement standing up to this rampant corporate greed and peacefully participating in our democracy,” said Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY). The co-chairs of the Progressive Caucus, Reps. Keith Ellison and Raul Grijalva, issued a joint statement to express “solidarity” with the movement, describing themselves as inspired by the mass movement. “We join the calls for corporate accountability and expanded middle-class opportunity,” they wrote. “The silent masses aren’t so silent anymore. They are fighting to give voice to the struggles that everyday Americans are going through,” added Rep. John Larson in his own statement supporting Occupy Wall Street. 

Even Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, the second-ranking House Democrat, agreed that there were similarities between the protesters’ message and Democratic priorities. “Certainly, there is an overlap in terms of jobs and economic opportunity, which they want and we want,” Hoyer told me. Though he didn’t go so far as his Democratic colleagues in embracing the movement wholeheartedly, he said that one “positive aspect” of the protests is that they’re “raising issues and raising concerns and asking policymakers to focus on it.”

Democrat presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, praised Occupy Wall Street.



Sanders is a decades-long Communist apologist who thinks so highly of Communism that he spent his honeymoon in the Soviet Union (clearly a romantic vacation spot), praised Communist Fidel Castro and the Communist Sandinistas in Nicaragua, and to this day states on his Senate website that...

These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger.

Sure, incomes are more equal in Venezuela. They're so equally bad that people are starving. The exception, is, of course, Venezuela's Socialist leadership, whose income is dong just fine. I took a screen shot, just in case he removes that travesty, but so far he seems quite proud of it.

Communism is the most murderous ideology in history. Communists murdered over 100 million people in the 20th Century alone, and the body count continues in North Korea, Cuba, China and Venezuela.

Communists are just as evil as Nazis, and their body count dwarfs that of the Nazis, so imagine if American politicians embraced and praised "protesters" who wore Hitler tee shirts...

Would American politicians who expressed "solidarity" with violent Nazis ever be elected?

What if an American politician loved Nazism so much that he spent his honeymoon in Nazi Germany while the US was at war with Nazi Germany? Would such a politician take second place in a major party's presidential primary?

I'm not trying to change any politician's mind here. Politicians are - for the most part - cynical, amoral opportunists. Instead, I'd like to address those who voted for the politicians who praised violent Communist "protesters".

Would it be morally reprehensible to vote for a politician who praised violent Nazi "protesters"? If so, then why is it morally acceptable to vote for politicians who praised violent Communist "protesters"?

Let me make this as clear as I can for my "liberal" friends. By rewarding (with your vote) politicians who praised violent Communists back in 2011-12, you helped normalize political violence in the US. You're part of the problem.

Now, we've had riots at the presidential inauguration. That's now the norm.


Thanks to you, violence against political opponents is now the norm.


Political violence on college campuses is now the norm.

Violently shutting down speech with which "liberals" disagree is now the norm.

As Stanger, [Charles] Murray and a college administrator left McCullough Student Center last evening following [Murray’s speech] they were “physically and violently confronted by a group of protestors,” according to Bill Burger, the college’s vice president for communications and marketing. 

Burger said college public safety officers managed to get Stanger and Murray into the administrator’s car. 

“The protestors then violently set upon the car, rocking it, pounding on it, jumping on and try to prevent it from leaving campus,” he said. “At one point a large traffic sign was thrown in front of the car. Public Safety officers were able, finally, to clear the way to allow the vehicle to leave campus. 

“During this confrontation outside McCullough, one of the demonstrators pulled Prof. Stanger’s hair and twisted her neck,” Burger continued. “She was attended to at Porter Hospital later and (on Friday) is wearing a neck brace.”

You threw out the old rules of civil discourse, "liberals". You passively stood by - or even applauded - while violent Leftists shut down free speech on college campuses and political rallies, rioted, looted, vandalized and burned. Then you rewarded politicians who praised the violent mobs by voting for them.

What you don't seem to understand is that the old rules were there to protect you just as much as everyone else, and that others can - and will - follow the new rules you created. And when they do, you won't like it.

Las Vegas Cop Killers Were Occupy Protesters

Main stream (i.e., Leftist) media outlets did their best to link Las Vegas cop killers, Jerad and Amanda Miller, to the Tea Party...

The Wingnut Bonnie and Clyde duo, Jerad and Amanda Miller, stormed into CiCi’s Pizza and shot two metro cops, Alyn Beck and Igor Soldo, at close range while shouting “This is a revolution!” They flung the Tea Party’s favorite coiled snake Gadsden flag and a swastika on the still-warm corpses and then moved to a nearby Walmart to murder a shopper before turning the guns on themselves.

...but here's a little detail they ignored.  Jerad and Amanda Miller were part of the "Occupy" movement.

While living in Lafayette [Indiana], Jerad and his wife Amanda took part in last November’s “Million Mask March” – a gathering of protesters from the Occupy movement, anarchists, and hacktivists. 

Of course, the Occupiers have nothing to do with the Millers.

Nick Wertz, one of the organizers of the Lafayette march, said it attracted many people upset over a lot of issues. 

“Everyone there just seem kind of like normal people. At least they were going to stick up with what they thought was right,” he said.
Wertz said he didn’t really know the Millers, but weeks after the march, Amanda Miller contacted him. 

“She was moving to Vegas for whatever reason and they had a dog they couldn’t take with – and I was like, ‘If I can help,’” Wertz said.
But that was the end of it, he said.

Nothing at all, right?

The Millers left a swastika and a “Don’t tread on me” flag on the body of one of the two officers they killed, and promoted an ideology shared by “militia and white supremacists,” including the belief that law enforcement was the “oppressor,” authorities said Monday.

Gosh, where have I heard that before?  Oh, yeah.  That's right.

In fact, Occupiers hate cops so much that they refused to report crimes committed in their camps cesspools to police...

...when people in Zuccotti Park become aware of crimes, instead of calling police, they form a circle around the perpetrator, chastise him or her and chase him or her out into the rest of the city to do who knows what to who knows whom

...and threatened to kill people who reported crimes to police.

"You got our friend arrested. We're gonna kill you! Watch your back!" the trio warned the young woman on Monday - two days after her complaint led to the arrest of Garfield Leslie, police said Tuesday.

And there were a lot of crimes committed by Occupiers during their nationwide reign of terror infantile, entitled temper tantrum.  You can browse a long list of their crimes at this link.  They include everything from vandalism and petty theft, to assault, rape and murder.  There's even a case of conspiracy to commit terrorism in Cleveland.

Three self-described anarchists were sentenced to prison Tuesday for trying to blow up a highway bridge between Cleveland and Akron using dummy explosives provided by an undercover FBI agent. 

Douglas Wright

Douglas Wright, 26, of Indianapolis, whom federal authorities described as the ringleader, received an 11½-year term. He apologized to his family and the community, saying he was an addict and needed help, the Akron Beacon Journal reports. 

Brandon Baxter, 20, of Lakewood, Ohio, was sentenced to nearly 10 years, and Connor Stevens, 20, of Berea, Ohio, got eight years.

The five were arrested April 30 as they tried to detonate dud bombs at the base of the Ohio 82 bridge over Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The FBI said Wright recruited the group from the Occupy Cleveland movement.

Yep.  Occupiers hate cops, love crime and love, love, love cop killers.

Dorner, who had been on the run as a suspect in a recent killing spree, was reportedly killed Tuesday during a shootout that left one law enforcement officer dead and another wounded. Dorner’s body was apparently burned in a fire that swept through a cabin he had held up in for the gunfight. 

The statement of support and solidarity was posted on the Occupy Los Angeles’ official Facebook page Wednesday. The statement came in the form of a posted picture captioned with the phrases “Rest In Power Chris Dorner” and “Assassinated By The Police for Trying To Expose LAPD Corruption.”

There are no riots at Tea Party rallies.  There are no assaults on police officers at Tea Party rallies.  There are no chants of "f**k the police" at Tea Party rallies.
 Nobody praises cop killers at Tea Party rallies or on Tea Party websites.

At violent, disease ridden, parasite (human and otherwise) infested, urine and feces splattered "Occupy" rallies, on the other hand...



Face it, Lefties.  Jerad and Amanda Miller have a hell of a lot more in common with your darlings, the Occupiers, than with the Tea Party.

Video footage obtained by The Daily Caller shows Occupy Wall Street protesters dumping large amounts of human urine and fecal matter around Lower Manhattan on the night of March 14.

A surveillance camera caught several people, who have been identified as members of the Occupy movement by the New York Police Department, pouring a large bucket of waste down a flight of stairs at the corner of Nassau and Cedar Streets. Around 20 minutes later, one man entered a Chase ATM vestibule on Water Street and dumped another large container of the repulsive mix. 

Police believe a 25-year-old Philadelphia man transported the group and their special delivery in his white van. A witness provided the NYPD with the van’s license plate number, and the suspect was apprehended two days later on Wall Street. 

The man, who had an illegal stun gun in the vehicle, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Unlawful Possession of Noxious Matter.

Remember when a bunch of Tea Partiers got arrested for endangering public health and safety by dumping  human feces in public places?  No?  Huh... funny.... me neither.  I wonder why.

Not satisfied with theft, vandalism, illegal drug use, assault, rioting, child prostitution, rape and murder, the Occupiers have added child abandonment to their growing repertoire of crime.

An infant’s cries rang through the Occupy DC encampment in McPherson Square Wednesday morning, and when a group went to investigate they found only a baby girl alone in a tent, wearing a onesie and mittens.

Soon after, authorities said, a man had been arrested and the girl — who was unharmed — was in the city’s care.

Canavan said the man was not a familiar face in the encampment and had only pitched his tent there this week. The camp has been in the park since Oct. 1.

“None of us knew this person,” she said. “It was a despicable, atrocious thing do. Every one here is revolted by the behavior.”

It's just weird, isn't it, how the criminals are never actual members of the "Occupy" movement, yet everywhere the "Occupy" movement goes, "despicable, atrocious" criminal behavior inevitably follows.

Hey, remember when people found an abandoned baby at a Tea Party rally?  No?  Huh.  Funny, me neither.

The rat population in Washington DC is "exploding", and not just because Congress is back in session! (couldn't resist)

The rat population around the two Occupy D.C. camps at McPherson Square and Freedom Plaza has “exploded”since protesters began their vigil in October, according to Mohammad N. Akhter, the director of the District’s Department of Health.

Akhter said in an interview Monday that city health inspectors have seen rats running openly through both camps and spotted numerous new burrows and nests underneath hay-stuffed pallets occupiers are using for beds. Both campsites had working kitchens for weeks until last week, but protesters at McPherson Square voluntarily closed down theirs after health inspectors pointed out unsanitary conditions during an informal monitoring visit.

These disgusting, unwashed, spoiled children in adult bodies can't even clean up after themselves.  What makes anyone think they can govern?

Oh, yeah.  Remember when Tea Party protests turned into filthy rat-breeding experiments?  No?  Huh, that's funny.  Me neither.  I wonder why.

Remember when Tea Party protesters caused millions of dollars in damage, left tons of trash to be cleaned up by others and defaced public property?  No?  Huh, me neither.  Weird, isn't it?

Repairs to City Hall’s lawn where the Occupy group set up camp on Oct. 1 will require an estimated $400,000. The police action to clear out the encampment on Nov. 30 cost more than $700,000. Additional expenses are attributed to hauling away debris from the camp, and cleaning up graffiti that defaced City Hall marble walls and trees. Mayor Villaraigosa says more budget cuts will be necessary to offset the costs.

Which is precisely the opposite of what the occupiers claimed they wanted.  Congratulations!  From the LA Times:

Sanitation officials said Wednesday that they expect to haul away 30 tons of debris from the Occupy L.A. encampment –- everything from clothing to heaps of garbage to oddball curiosities left behind by the protesters who lived at the City Hall tent city for two months.

Way to go, "Occupy Wall Street"!  Your months of protesting, public defecation and urination, drug use, assaults, abuse of public and private property and general lawlessness, you finally achieved what you set out to do.  You showed the evil, greedy 1% that they can't exploit the 99% anymore by... putting a bunch of cooks, waiters and waitresses out of work... and just in time for Christmas!  Mission accomplished!

Six months after opening a popular eatery on Wall Street, the owner is closing its doors for good on Thursday.

Marc Epstein said that when he opened the Milk Street Café, business was booming but then came Occupy Wall Street and precautions by the police department. 

Last month, Epstein was forced to let 21 employees go and cut the store’s hours, closing at 3 p.m. instead of 9 p.m.

It's ever thus with Socialists.  They claim to be for "the Masses", but their actions hurt those of middle, or low income worst, not the "evil", "greedy" "rich" they claim are the target.  Witness the Occupiers' shut-down of the Port of Oakland.

Truck drivers on Tuesday said they lost $500 to $1,000 each by not being able to drop off or pick up cargo because of the port occupation this week. And they said they had to spend hours in line Tuesday because of work orders that were delayed Monday.

But that's OK, because some of those union members are apparently among the "evil" "rich".

Port officials also noted that the demonstrations prevented members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union from handling cargo at the docks Monday. The port has about 2,000 ILWU workers, who make between $100,000 and $200,000 a year.

I guess they got what they deserve, according to the self-appointed defenders of the proletariat.
