Gun-Toting Granny Sends Burglar Running

From Sacramento, another story gun grabbers hate and refuse to admit exists.

Fannie Mae Brown says she saw the burglar's flashlight inside the house and realized the intruder was headed toward her bedroom. She fired one shot toward the light, police said, which sent the suspect running off into the night.
Brown says she wasn't entirely surprised by the break-in. She said the afternoon before she had noticed someone had broken the glass on her front door. At that point she knew she was a potential target.
This story illustrates perfectly why the 2nd Amendment is so important.  There's no way an 89-year-old woman could defend herself effectively from a physical attack by a criminal - most of whom are young men.

That's where the gun comes in.  Mrs. Brown's gun didn't just even the odds between her and her attacker, it gave her the advantage and sent him running.  Anti-2nd-Amendment types want to steal from Mrs. Brown her right to defend herself.

They claim, of course, that's false.  They claim they support the right to self defense, but that's a lie.  You can't claim to support a person's right to defend themselves while taking away their most effective means to do so.
